For our chapter, we chose October. In this chapter Holling undergoes several surprising and downright crazy events. On this folio we will discuss these events, and overall summarize this chapter.
The Setting(s)
The Main Conflict
The setting in the chapter, October, is mostly in at his school, Camillo Jr. High. The year is 1967, the month is, well, October, and the time is often on Wednesday afternoons with Mrs. Baker.
I believe conflict in this chapter, October, is when the two rats escape their cage. This pretty much sums up what has been happening to Holling the entire novel, as it was completely uncalled for, and wasn't desired. Sounds familiar right? The conflict is mainly man vs. society, but I could see how there is some man vs. self sprinkled in there. The characters in this include Holling, the two rats, and also Mrs. Baker.
